Dear System/Software Architects,
One of our High Tech clients in Zuid-Holland is currently welcoming a permanent System Architect with Software experience.
This company focuses on Technical Automation and develops friendly Intelligent Robotic Systems. In the Netherlands they employ about 950 people. The engineering department employs about 200 people and consists of multidisciplinary teams (Software, Electrical- and Mechanical Engineers). The company has a down to earth working environment with lots of respect among team members. The whole environment is structured in a way to make sure innovation is possible. A high percentage of the turnover is invested in R&D. Engineers will be involved in the full life cycle of the robots, and will actually see their added value in end-product. At the moment the company is looking for a System/Software Architect.
What will you do:
-Design, integrate, and implement embedded software/System architecture on application level
-Have a helicopter view on existing projects/products and new developments of all departments
-Shape platform development: architecture that can handle multiple projects at the same time to reach integration. Find the generic factor and translate global architecture to blocs
(Every product has been designed from an idea, but there is no common architecture yet)
Modular building of the architecture
Keep close contact with suppliers
What is needed:
-Electronics or Mechatronics background with System/Software Architecture experience (at least 3 years in the role of architect)
-Experience in designing electronic systems
-Embedded Linux and OO experience
-Willing to travel a few times per year
-Background in Systems- and Control is a plus, but not mandatory
