The candidate manages the application APO Demand Planning in such a way that it meets the ongoing and future needs of a defined business area. He provides a high level expertise, technical support and consultation to the business (Consumer Supply Chain) and IT management.
He supports the DP projects in 2014 and provides input for the detailed design, the review and the presentation of APO solutions.
Key responsibility is to coordinate and execute the technical implementation and configuration of a new template for an APO DP environment, following business requirements and in collaboration with the other members of the project team. As technical implementation manager, the candidate will have also the responsibility for the SAP system configuration and ABAP coding, involving all relevant parties (e.g. IT technical team, IT QA, Business).
He evaluates program feasibility; describes and analyzes information requirements in a workflow chart and diagram; builds prototypes. He designs, implements, analyzes, and modifies systems for various applications. Works with users to define system requirements and resolve problems. Confers with user departments to identify business functional needs, and to troubleshoot and resolve software problems. Writes functional specification and debugs programs to comply with user needs. Designs and runs test routines, protocols, and performance queries. Designs application programs to minimize run and response times.
The candidate will also support the project leaders in the oversight and report for requested project tasks, including all aspects of business analysis, development of requirements and system implementation. Particularly, his support will be focused in providing inputs in the technical area.
Working together with DP Stream leader and business project manager, the technical implementation manager will focus on the following goals:
Design and management of the implementation of solution including system configuration and ABAP coding
Coordinate and manage the implementation of technical and functional solution
Respect the process methodology, following SDLC requirements and STF way of working, especially for the implementation of changes
Manage the testing through the path to production , supporting also the UAT
Manage technical & business cutover activities.
